Jhet Setup
Gaming Tech WriterI am a gaming tech writer for MUO and a hobby photographer. I use my photos in my articles whenever I get an opportunity to do so. I love fixing, building, and tinkering with keyboards, computers, audio stuff, cameras, and basically anything that I can open up. My inspiration and goal when building my setup is a balance between minimal distractions yet having significant and aesthetically pleasing elements for some color and life. I have no inspiration; it's just what came together while experimenting. If I had to pick, the items I like the most on my setup are my keyboard and the Scarlett Solo. The Keychron Q1 is blue and the Scarlett Solo is red, and they contrast each other in a nice way. It's also quite nice that they're both anodized aluminum colors. The screwdriver set is the thing that the gray pen knife is on top of.

StreamerI am Marty Laoang from the Philippines, a retired bodybuilding champion who is now into gaming and streaming. I like the concept of being neutral and clean when building my setup. The item I like the most on my setup is the lines and curves of my custom loop. :)

I like a symmetry overall when building my desk setup and got some inspiration from watching home or WFH desk setups on YouTube. The item I like the most on my setup is the keyboard because I like the dampened sound of it.

Patient TransporterI am Mark Anthony Suyat, now residing in the United Arab Emirates, working as a Patient Transporter in one of the well-known hospitals in the world. I do motorcycle racing back home. I didn't have any idea about building a computer back then. I learned PC building on YouTube when Covid struck and lockdown was implemented here in Abu Dhabi. I had a chance to buy PC parts when my company was giving us salary even though we were not working, so I can say we were very lucky and blessed at that time. Since I started building my first PC, every time I have extra money, I buy PC parts to upgrade and to have items for my YouTube content unboxing. I was inspired by the triple monitor setup by Kyle (Bitwit) and have inspiration from other tech YouTubers like Ed (TecSource), Linu (LTT), and Jay (Jhayztwocent). The item I like the most on my setup is the screen because I can play my F1 2020 with cockpit view, and I am planning to have a G9 or a similar screen in the future.

Cybersecurity EngineerI am a cybersecurity engineer. I like gaming setups but it’s too much color and RGB for me. I love the simple rustic, earthy, and productive look. As a cybersecurity engineer, I have to be comfortable with minimal distractions to maintain focus. I love my desk and monitor setup as it allows me to change from the sit/stand position as needed, gives me plenty of space to work with, love my audio setup because I love good sounding music and I love my mechanical keyboards because clickity clack…. Sorry for Harley the cat…..he loves the desk.

As a 51 year old gaming addict, I have been gaming since the days of the Commodore 64 and I am still going, albeit more of a games "collector "now than player due to not getting enough time to play though them after buying. My sons have their own PC but for some reason prefer to play on mine ;)

Graphic DesignerI am a graphic designer with four years of experience. My most recent project was with a confectionery company, where I redesigned their logo, press kit, and packaging, focusing on a branding overhaul that balanced retaining the original design while updating it. I enjoy working in this industry because no two days are the same, and when things feel new, I find it easy to immerse myself in the work. My previous company closed due to the pandemic, so when I joined Inspiro, I wanted to challenge myself and enhance my skill set. It was my first BPO experience, assisting customers over the phone, chat, and emails, which taught me how to deal with people efficiently. Although it was a seasonal account, managing multiple chats and emails simultaneously was draining but ultimately fulfilling, especially when I saw irate customers change their moods completely after a positive interaction. Since I was a kid, I’ve been passionate about music, loving both local and international bands. I learned and played drums at a music studio after school, often playing until my arms and fingers got numb. I enjoyed switching between drums and guitar with my friends, feeling like the “heartbeat of the band” as I created powerful and infectious beats. Currently, I’m practicing acoustic guitar, spending hours honing my skills and exploring different genres and styles, from fingerpicking to blazing solos. The guitar remains my faithful companion. I began building my desk setup in January 2023. The vibe of my desk setup is a harmonious blend of minimalist aesthetics and functional organization, with clean lines, a neutral color palette, and a calming atmosphere. A few carefully chosen decorative pieces add personality, while dedicated spots for my laptop stand and stationery create efficiency and focus. My inspiration for building the setup came from my love for minimalism and the desire to merge functionality with aesthetics. My goal was to create a space that enhances my productivity and efficiency. What I like most about my setup is the laptop, as having a gaming laptop is truly my dream. Even though I’m not a heavy gamer, it fulfills all my work needs.
