Martyn Setup
Website DesignerI’m a web designer and have played video games for about 25 years. I’m also into all the usual “geek” stuff—anime, D&D, and the like. Since I work from home, I have the flexibility to enjoy my hobbies alongside my work. When building my setup, my goal was to have lots of room to move around. As a web designer, I need plenty of screen space to work efficiently, and as a longtime gamer, I also need to make space for my PS5. My favorite item in the setup is the Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones. The sound quality is fantastic, the clarity is top-tier, and the noise cancellation makes a huge difference whether I’m gaming or getting into the zone with design work.
I am interested in gaming, and my inspiration and goal when building my setup is gaming.

PhotographerI am someone whose journey began with a simple love for photography, inspired by incredible influencers around me. I knew that achieving my dreams would require hard work, dedication, investment, and continuous learning. So, I took the plunge! After completing my 8 to 5 job, I would spend late nights immersing myself in photography, missing time with friends, family, and events, but never deterring from shaping my dream. Sharing my passion on social media led to my first-ever client, and I seized every project, growing my portfolio as a testament to my devotion. Years of consistency helped me build a productive working station, creating captivating stories for clients while having a relaxing area for my projects. My story is meant to inspire others to focus on what they need and embrace passion and hard work. When I have leisure time, I spend it working 150% of my time. I began building my desk setup in December 2019, describing its vibe as Valhalla. My inspiration and goal for the setup are productivity, and my favorite item on the setup is my Stream deck because of its usefulness.

Portfolio Manager in Oil & GasI am working as a Portfolio Manager in Oil & Gas. I work from home a couple of days a week and during evenings and weekends, enjoying some daddy-daughter or uncle time in the office for gaming. I've tried to keep my desk setup minimal and clutter-free with as few wires visible as possible. The idea is simple — if I don't use it at least once a month, it shouldn't be in the office; if I don't use it at least once every two weeks, it shouldn't be visible on pegboards, etc. Also, I don’t buy everything new — one out of five items is new, and the rest are refurbished, on sale, or free collections from clearouts. My inspiration and goal when building my setup is to make it practical and easy to access, know where everything is, and to hold multiple people gaming at the same time, all while being a comfortable workspace. I love the pegboards, but to be honest, my favorite items are the Logitech K780 keyboard and Master MX mouse; those two are my buy-every-time items because they are my most loved and most used gear.

RetailI am Chris Haime, I work full-time in retail and am also studying part-time with the Open University doing a degree in Cyber Security. I like going to the gym and running. I also love Star Trek. Sometimes I need space to study, and I get bored of my desk setup, so I like to change it around every week! I also like using my Hue Lighting. I love my Apple Studio Display; it makes my setup, whatever way I set the desk up, look amazing with the display and with the Philips Hue Lighting. I also like my MacBook Air and my Microsoft Surface 5 laptop.
As a 51 year old gaming addict, I have been gaming since the days of the Commodore 64 and I am still going, albeit more of a games "collector "now than player due to not getting enough time to play though them after buying. My sons have their own PC but for some reason prefer to play on mine ;)
