As a result, I've created a setup that I'm genuinely in love with. I'm a fan of the combination of wood and black in my desk because it creates a cozy yet industrial look that I find very appealing. While working and enjoying leisure time at my desk, I consider several items essential. These include a Shure MV7 Podcast Microphone, 8Bitdo Ultimate Controller, Keychron K1 SE, and a lightbar—some of my favorite accessories that help me stay productive and comfortable throughout the day.

My setup is warm and cozy, making my workflow more productive and enjoyable. As much as I love how it looks now, I always look for ways to improve it daily. My favorite item has to be the Elgato Stream Deck. It makes navigating and controlling my work much easier, and I can’t imagine editing without it.

Website DesignerI’m a web designer and have played video games for about 25 years. I’m also into all the usual “geek” stuff—anime, D&D, and the like. Since I work from home, I have the flexibility to enjoy my hobbies alongside my work. When building my setup, my goal was to have lots of room to move around. As a web designer, I need plenty of screen space to work efficiently, and as a longtime gamer, I also need to make space for my PS5. My favorite item in the setup is the Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones. The sound quality is fantastic, the clarity is top-tier, and the noise cancellation makes a huge difference whether I’m gaming or getting into the zone with design work.

3D & Graphic Designer, Website DesignerI'm a designer based in Manila, Philippines. By day, I freelance as a 3D and graphic designer; by night, I work full-time as a website designer. It's a busy grind, but I enjoy every moment, especially when I create in a space that inspires me. This is my first laptop-based setup. I immediately gravitated toward a black-and-white, two-tone aesthetic when I put it together. It's easy to work with and helps keep things clean and cohesive. My main goal was minimalism—no clutter, no distractions, just pure functionality. The centerpiece of my setup is my laptop. It powers everything and is the machine that helps me generate income. Without it, none of this would be possible. So yes, it's my MVP—both creatively and practically. 😄 One of my proudest moments was when Matthew Moniz featured this setup on YouTube in December 2022. Graphic DesignerI’m a graphic designer from the Philippines! When I was young, I used to draw a lot every day—and now it’s my job, so I guess that’s pretty cool. I’m taking an animation course during my last year of college. I’m obsessed with computer setups, keyboards, graphic design, and art in general. Over the past two years of working from home, I’ve experimented with many desk layouts. What I currently have is by far the most efficient and practical setup I’ve built. I do not like RGB lighting, so I intentionally stick to neutral warm tones to keep the aesthetic cozy and grounded. My favorite item in the setup is my keyboard. Since I started working from home, keyboard modding has become one of my favorite hobbies—it’s so satisfying and honestly makes me excited to work every single day. My inspiration and goal when building my setup is that it's simple and has everything that I need for working. The item I like the most on my setup is my light bar because it gives my workspace a shade of light as I'd like to work dark.

My inspiration and goal when building my desk setup is to create an ambiance that makes work more relaxing. The item I like the most in my setup is the monitor light, as it helps keep my eyes more comfortable for more extended periods compared to when I don't have it.
