Graphic Designer & Animation StudentI am Ivane Daiel, but my friends call me Van. I am a graphic designer from the Philippines! When I was young, I used to draw a lot every day, and now it's my job, so I guess that's cool. I am currently in my last year of college, taking an Animation course. I am obsessed with computer setups, keyboards, graphic design, and art in general. I've tried numerous setup layouts over the past two years of working from home, and all I can say is that what I currently have is the most efficient and practical setup I've ever created. I am also not a fan of RGB, so I mindfully stick to neutral warm colors. My favorite item on my setup is my keyboard. Keyboard mod has been one of my favorite hobbies since I started working from home; it's incredibly satisfying, and honestly, it always gets me excited to work every single day.

Project Manager and Chief of StaffI am a Project Manager and Chief of Staff for various business entities, overseeing teams of hardworking individuals, coordinating projects, and keeping teams motivated. I spend my days cooking in the morning, spending time with the family and our beautiful Himmy cat named Lulu. I am also a vocalist of a rock and roll band, but we no longer play as frequently as before. I spend time with our other musically-inclined friends and chill outdoors on weekends. My desk setup can be described as organized, clean, and most importantly—functional. I strive to create a clean, clutter-free workspace that promotes focus and productivity. I can quickly locate and access my tools and resources with everything in its designated place. My inspiration would definitely be the concept of minimalism. Although I have plans of upgrading my table, my ultimate goal is to create a dual-toned approach of black and walnut, a visually pleasing and functional workspace that allows me to work with ease and maintain a sense of calm throughout the day. Aside from the major ones being the monitor and the laptop itself, I am very fond of the "hockey puck" inspired wireless controls of both my Xiaomi light bar and the Logitech Z407 speakers. It just makes things even cleaner, easily configurable, and minimalist.

I began building my desk setup with a minimalistic vibe, inspired by a minimalistic theme. The item I like the most on my setup is the Desk Mat, biased as it is my own, but it really helps set the tone of the setup.

As a cybersecurity engineer, I have to be comfortable with minimal distractions to maintain focus. I love my desk and monitor setup as it allows me to change from the sit/stand position as needed, gives me plenty of space to work with, love my audio setup because I love good sounding music and I love my mechanical keyboards because clickity clack…. Sorry for Harley the cat…..he loves the desk.
