IT ConsultantI’m a 39-year-old IT consultant, former Magic: The Gathering Pro Tour chaser, and poker player. I’ve been building computers for fun and professionally for the past 25 years. Every hobby I dive into, I go all in. Computers, in particular, have always fascinated me. From the early days of dial-up internet to today’s ARGB-filled beasts, I’ve always pushed the limits while keeping aesthetics front and center. This current desk build is a full redesign from my previous one. I wanted a spacious, clean canvas that seamlessly supports my WFH and gaming needs. The Vitesse desk became the foundation—it’s sturdy, budget-friendly, and can hold my monitors, arms, heavy PC case, and all the daily gear. Whether remote IT work, server management, graphic design, Magic Spelltable, content creation, or just some solid PC gaming—I needed a setup to handle it all. The vibe? Peaceful yet powerful. It's a clean ambience with the right tools to keep me in the zone and enough style to keep me inspired. My favorite part of the setup is the Mod-3 Mini Case. It’s an absolute showstopper—unlike anything else on the market. The unique design immediately draws attention and is perfect for showing off high-end custom parts. I built this space so I could leave for a social night out and come back ready to dive into what I love. It’s a little jungle of tech and creativity. Game on, my friends… and welcome to the jungle.

Software EngineerI'm Rafi, a Software Engineer from Dhaka, Bangladesh. My hobbies include singing, listening to music, playing and collecting musical instruments, reading, collecting die-cast model cars, building custom mechanical keyboards, and setting up workspaces. I prioritize ambience over anything when I build a setup. My setup is my workplace, and since I spend the whole day here, I must stay focused. The more organized your surroundings are, the more focused you can be. Rustic vibes soothe me, so I go for that kind of setup. I like the pen and the notebook the most because I love to write.

Graphic DesignerI’m a graphic designer from the Philippines! When I was young, I used to draw a lot every day—and now it’s my job, so I guess that’s pretty cool. I’m taking an animation course during my last year of college. I’m obsessed with computer setups, keyboards, graphic design, and art in general. Over the past two years of working from home, I’ve experimented with many desk layouts. What I currently have is by far the most efficient and practical setup I’ve built. I do not like RGB lighting, so I intentionally stick to neutral warm tones to keep the aesthetic cozy and grounded. My favorite item in the setup is my keyboard. Since I started working from home, keyboard modding has become one of my favorite hobbies—it’s so satisfying and honestly makes me excited to work every single day. Outside of work, I've been building keyboards as a hobby, which is why I have a collection of keyboards in my setup. I was aiming for a wood and black/grey setup. The wood balances out the dark tones. For me, it's calming and helps me stay calm while working. My monitor is the item I like the most in my setup because it was the most recent purchase, and it has dramatically helped me in my job, as I spend a lot of time working with Excel and Google Sheets. It's also fun to watch movies and play games with it. My eye strain lessened when I started using this monitor.
I am interested in gaming, and my inspiration and goal when building my setup is gaming.

The aesthetic color brown of my desk and the view of the window make me a more productive person because I can see the beauty of the trees and sky. My favorite item on my setup is my Speaker: Edifier R1000T4, as a Video editor, music is the most crucial part of editing, and using this speaker provides dynamic audio that helps me hear pure sounds.

I prefer a simple desk setup, with minimal RGB or lighting, as I believe it is soothing and comfortable for the eyes, which helps alleviate eye strain during long hours of work in front of the PC. My favorite item in my setup is my keyboard because it is customized in every part, from the case and keycaps to the switches and stabilizers, as well as mods installed to make it sound more thocky. If you dream of having your desk set up, work hard for it, and with your hard work, it will surely come. Maybe it would take time to have, but it will surely be special and worth it.

I've tried numerous setup layouts over the past two years of working from home, and all I can say is that what I currently have is the most efficient and practical setup I've ever created. I am also not a fan of RGB, so I mindfully stick to neutral warm colors. My favorite item on my setup is my keyboard. Keyboard mod has been one of my favorite hobbies since I started working from home; it's incredibly satisfying, and honestly, it always gets me excited to work every single day.
